Your basement’s exterior wall is your last line of defense to protect your basement from water damage. So therefore it is the first thing we check when correction any flooded or wet basement. Compromised or cracked walls or waterproofing which has failed is a common thing we usually find. Once we carefully dig around your basement exterior walls we will determine what the problem is and will offer you affordable options on what we can do to fix the wall so that it can be the impenetrable wall of defense against water that it once was.

EXTERIOR DRAINAGE
Channeling water away from your basement wall is a tremendous win in the fight against a wet and damp basement. Properly ran gutter downspouts as well as foundation drains installed correctly can keep your basement exterior wall dry so it doesn’t have to work as hard to keep water out of your basement. We will dig up and check your downspout drains as well as foundation drain to ensure it is clear of obstruction and leveled correctly. We will then make any correction or completely reinstall as needed to take the strain off of your basement walls in regards to keeping water out of your basement.
INTERIOR DRAINAGE
Even the best planning and preventative measures can’t always plan for what Mother Nature will do or any other catastrophic failure (outside hose spigot failure). This is why we also build in systems that will remove any water that may sneak inside of the basement to ensure it won’t be a problem for the interior of the home or business. One of these methods is an interior drainage system. The interior drainage system channels water along the inner foundation wall and then back outside again far away from the home.

The second and final system of the basement interior meant to keep your basement dry is the Sump Pump. This wonderful piece of machinery will work tirelessly pumping out all overflow water that made it past the exterior measures that were put into place. It will thoroughly collect all water and pump it outside your home to ensure it doesn’t damage your basement interior. This system is the last measure to ensure that your basement is never troubled with flooding again.

ABOUT US
Growing up in Louisiana gave our owner, Mike, firsthand experience about the problems that can be experienced with moisture issues. The low water table and severe storms make many parts of the state rather soggy. Mike saw his family home flooded several times, and that led to him having a keen interest in waterproofing.
