I had several places quote to fix, however they were outrageous in price and it involved knocking walls out etc. I called Basement Technologies and Doug came out to assess my issues. Figured it out, job is now complete and 1/3 of the costs as others and no walls had to knocked out! LOL. Highly recommend Mike and Doug and their team. They worked in such cold weather in my crawl space for 3 days! Cleaned up after, and kept my driveway clean. 100% recommend them!

Mike and Doug were genuinely concerned about doing a good job. After Doug did the initial inspection, he called Mike in to make sure they were correctly addressing the problem. They offered a few options on how to address the issue and gave their unbiased opinion about the best one. Despite several heavy rains since they did the job in March 2024, there has not been a single drop of water in our basement.

We called them again to help my mother and father-in-law with their leaky basement. That job was also done quickly and well. I would not hesitate to do future business with them.

They offer a cash discount and warranty their work. I'm not worried when it rains anymore because I know our basement will stay dry.

Regarding the last one star review he went out to that home as a favor to me as the buyers agent to access.  He did a quick walk around and put together a list of things he noticed and "recommended" that the new homeowner do, or atleast keep an eye on.  He did not do a full inspection and go through the home as he typically would!  The builder was still working on a few exterior items hence some of the issues he found and noted in his recommendations.  They are very professional and have worked on quite a few homes I have had sold.  All of which, to my knowledge, do not have water issues to this day!  Highley recommend Basement Tech!!

From the first time I met Mike, he treated me like he had known me forever. So personable, kind, caring, and knowledgeable. He was upfront and honest. Mike told me how far out his schedule is, but listened to my needs, and made it happen! It was so nice to see a group of guys that worked so good together. They made sure to call me each day and go over exactly what they did. When I wanted to change the type of piping used they changed it happily with no frustration. After they finished the owner came over and went over what he did and made sure to say if I had any issues I can always call him at any time. As a single mother this truly made me thankful that they didn’t just do their job and leave but treated me as if I were family. They came back and went over everything and made sure I knew I could call them if I had any issues. I will definitely be using them again if I have any water issues with my basement. ABOUT US

Growing up in Louisiana gave our owner, Mike, firsthand experience about the problems that can be experienced with moisture issues. The low water table and severe storms make many parts of the state rather soggy. Mike saw his family home flooded several times, and that led to him having a keen interest in waterproofing.

We had a customer who was having water seeping in to their basement from their house’s exterior wall. The water was causing the sheetrock to bubble from the moisture and was making the basement carpet wet. The customer didn’t have any idea how the water was coming in to their basement so they called on us, Basement Technologies of Western NC to come and help them with their wet basement.
